A Kinsey - one match - red legend

Sent a card to Albert Kinsey who played just one match for United in 1965 (FA Cup v Chester City ... and scored!!!). Saw in internet he emigrated to Australia and had a floor and carpet business. Fairly easy to match and find an address. Sent out in June this year and just returned.

After debut with United left to join Wrexham for a long career there.

Out of interest. Do you ahave any United players in your collection who never ended up playing any first team games? I have a few in my Watford collection. The most notable being Les Ferdinand. He signed a one year contract with Watford, so I sent him one of my Watford cards which he duly signed, but then never played a single game. 🙂

#6 Up to now only dedicated myself to players playing at least a match. Have thought about then going for players who never actually played e.g. David Platt. Might do so as i ran out of ideas for those who actually played.

Thats a great reply and always good too get the lesser known players i have made sure i got Alex Stepney(united legend) for my Chelsea collection as he played once for us in the 60s.
