1 success & 1 failure

3 days of replies – is a record for me.

First is a reply from Tom McLaughlin. Not famous as such, but very well known in his field of puppet building and foam latex casting. He has worked on various projects such as The Dark Crystal and Spitting Image. He pioneered the use of foam latex at Henson. Tom also included a postcard of a character he built.

Also had a failure - return to sender and card. Frank Oz - was kind of expecting this as Ive seen other failures like this from him. I sent this back in January. Looks like he is not signing TTM anymore.

nice success Rob, a shame about Frank Oz though, after using a secretary for his mail for many years he has been signing himself for the past few years, replying in bulk about every 6 months or so but it appears he has stopped that now, better he sends RTS's than goes back to secretarial though, at least you know where you stand

Nice success and addition to your collection. I agree with Greg, it is better you get these RTS replies than a sec or facsimile.

I like seeing the more obscure names. It makes a collection more complete when you get the backroom staff as well as the well known names. Real pity about the Frank Oz RTS though.
