At eBay, we’re committed to making our policies clear and our services easy to use. We wanted to let you know that we’re updating our Payments Terms of Use, effective from 23 September 2024. We’re revising the Payments Terms of Use to better describe the payment services we provide to you. As part of this revision, we have specified the provision regarding Seller Onboarding to increase transparency and clarified which eBay company is the provider of the Seller Protection in the section about Using Managed Payments. Further, we have revised and clarified the provisions in Part III.7. regarding the payment methods payment by invoice, installments and direct debit, without changing the rules as such.

If you agree to the changes, you do not need to do anything further. If you, as a consumer, do not agree to the proposed changes, you can reject them at any time before 23 September 2024 by notifying us in text form (e.g. by e-mail) or terminating the payment processing agreement free of charge and without notice. This can be done, for example, by e-mail or by contacting our customer service. Otherwise, your consent to the changes will be deemed to have been given.

Thanks for being part of the eBay community.
