We recently announced that the requirements for eBay Top-rated seller status were changing from 1 August and only sellers that meet the new listing level
requirements will receive the new eBay Premium Service badge on their listings.
Some UK sellers have been wondering why the old eBay Top-rated seller badge is still displayed on their listings, even though they don’t meet the new
requirements.
The current eBay Top-rated seller badge will still be displayed until 10 September. However, the discount and increased best match visibility that go along
with the new eBay Premium Service now only apply to sellers that meet the new requirements. Only the badge change happens later.
After 10 September, the new eBay Premium Service badge will replace the old one, and will only be shown on listings that meet the new criteria. The old
eBay Top-rated seller badge will disappear.
