Moon River - Audrey Hepburn

(Morning peeps grinning More rain, thunder & lightening last night - I hid under the covers as very loud it was scream Hope you just get the rain Little 🤞 Best not to share too much cake with the birdies or they won't be able to take off laughing although it may be funny to watch them try 🤭)

Moody Girl - Frank Stallone

('ello peeps grin Glad you got some rain Little & didn't get the bright & loud stuff with it relieved It has been torrential here at times & there has been flooding in places, but lucky for me not here... gives me such a headache though this sort of weather - I think someone once told me that women get it more so than men due to us having more water in our bodies open_mouth no idea if it's true, but I've used that excuse for all sorts of things over the years laughing I would add though, that bed wetting has not been one of them triumph at least not yet wink I'm usually up early, but Sundays more so as I'm either at a bootsale or out for breakfast 😋)

Go Away Little Girl - Steve Lawrence

(Good afternoon Mousie. Woman Very HappySome sun arrived in my sky not too long ago. Before that cloudy, at least warm.

Pleased to hear no flooding your side, as my side too. I am high up... well, at least that makes me feel taller innocent as I look down on some homes. Woman Very Happy

Wow, bootsales are good, not that I have been able to get to any lately, but nice memories of going to them. I go out to breakfast a lot... well, going out of my lounge into my kitchen to eat. Woman FrustratedWoman LOL)

*Hope all going as well as can be for Danlyncand and Bonnie as well. Maybe they got a tan each with plenty of the sunshine*. Woman Very Happy

Away From The Mire - Billy Strings

(I've only been a few times this year to a bootsale due to the virus - if it gets too busy I'm off a zooming grin Glad you didn't get any flooding & yes hope Danlyncand & Bonnie are high & dry too.  I am surrounded by pears, apples & now plums having picked the trees bare.... now just have to process it all <groan>)

(hello mousie, Little, bonnie... yes indeed high and dry, now appreciating living half way up a mountain 🙂 Pears, apples & plums sound good, better to pick these things before the slugs do 🙂 I’ve picked a lot of tobacco for that very reason, also some very young kale which was getting slugged away to nothing... my strange Welsh apple tree is giving a lot of strange Welsh apples 😎 after not giving any last year 🙂 hope everyone’s coolio 😎 🙂 )

Breakfast in America  -  Supertramp

Brings back memories seeing them here in Edinburgh.

Greetings to all you music followers.

Must get busy in the garden tomorrow, the weeds are taking over.  Hedge needs cut but hubby hurt back and it looks awful.  Grass needing cut too before the grankids invade at the weekend.

Talking of slugs I found one in my kitchen, it was soon tossed to the lovely frog that lives in my garden.

Kids In America - Kim Wilde

( Woman Very Happy Good evening Mousie, Danlyncand and Bonnie. Oo, the wind has been strong my side, nearly got blown out of my little wellies. Woman Surprisedinnocent I had to take the wooden wind chime down as clonking away too much. Woman Surprised

Mm, what with Mousie's pears, apples and plums Woman Very Happy along with Danlyncand's tobacco, strange welsh apples and kale Woman Very Happy  I sure could make some concoction in my kitchen. innocent

Oo, hope your hubby feels better soon Bonnie and hope all goes well tomorrow being busy in your garden. Woman Very Happy Slugs for sure need to be outside.)

America The Beautiful - Ray Charles

(Beautiful morning here, hope you all have the same grinning Danlyncand, how many ciggies do you think you'll be able to make from your plants? Lots I hope. I'm curious about your strange welsh apple tree too... I'm getting visions of bobbin apples with mouths, singing  various Tom Jones songs open_mouth Bonnie, glad to hear the frogs get fed as well as the grandkids - have a great weekend with them all. Little glad you haven't been blown away... kitchen concoctions sound Ok as long as Danlyncand doesn't bring his Shake n Vac winklaughing I'm slowly getting through all the fruit & have frozen & preserved quite a lot now.... getting lots of tomatoes too so glad I don't have to buy any for a while as home grown tastes so much better & are freeeeeeeeeeeeeeestuck_out_tongue_winking_eye )

How Beautiful You Are - The Cure

(Good afternoon Mousie 'n all Woman Very Happy Oo, some sun appeared in my sky earlier, now completely changed for dark clouds and lots of rain, teeming it down at the moment. Woman Surprised

At least good for the garden Woman Very Happy but not for me innocent  if I had to go out I would shrink even more. open_mouth

That's a good point there Mousie best that Danlyncand doesn't bring his shake n Vac into the kitchen. Woman LOL

Wow, that word freeeeeeeeeeeeeee sounds good. Woman Very Happy You can have my share of your tomatoes if I can have a good share of your preserved and frozen fruit pretty please. innocent)

How deep is your love - Bee Gees <Nods to Bonnie wink>

(Yikes, that sounds like a lot of rain so very wise you don't go outside there Little for if you shrink we will never be able to see you to give you our share of tomatoes, preserved and frozen fruit plus there is also the cakes & biccies & builders mugs of tea....innocentgrin On the upside, if Danlyncand decided to resurrect his concocting experiments ... you would miss out there thinking)

River Deep & Mountain High - Ike & Tina Turner

(wazaaaaap peeps 🙂 a nod to everyone, and a packet of my cigars as Mike Baldwin used to say. Maybe 200 cigs mousie, I’ve been hanging the leaves up for a while now and had a couple of rollies, got a surprisingly large amount of baccy thus far 🙂 Had hoped for a year’s supply but can’t complain. As for my concocting activities, working my beee-hind off for our cousins across the pond has provided the wherewithal to buy actual food for a while now but business has gone slower lately so my strange Welsh apples may have to be concocted soon. The farmers tell me it’s a kind of tree that was bred in Wales long long agooo. The apples look like bramleys only less green with pinky areas. They cook better than they eat but they eat okay 🙂 especially with a spot of caramel fudge ice cream it has to be said 🙂 Commiserations re. rain, much here too 😞 🙂 )

Deep in the Heart of Texas - Perry Como

(Evening all ... I am impressed with the ciggy count Danlyncand, that's amazing grinning Do you notice any difference from mass produced tobacco? It has to be better as no chemicals added unless you have to add some? Good news that you're busy making some money... soon be the end of the month so fingers crossed it speeds up again for you 🤞 Maybe you should collect some welsh apple seeds & sell them as a heritage variety... thinking out loud I wonder if it's rare enough for Kew Gardens to want them for their collection...there may be a Kilner jar waiting... )

Stone in love with you - Stylistics

(now then mousie 🙂 a while of free baccy will help with the imminent car mot and add to the admittedly less imminent millionaire fund 🙂 All my kilner jars are full of survival foods gathered hastily in February when I thought there might be food shortages, so I hope Kew gardens have one ready, I shall save the pips which so many of us wrote off as gone back in the days of phone boxes 🙂 )

Love Changes Everything - Michael Ball

(Afternoon peeps grin A cold start this morning, but more of the yellow stuff beaming down now... not sure it will last, but good for getting the toms to ripen grinning Ugh the MOT... I've been lucky as mine was due during lockdown so it got extended until November, but all that really means is that they will find more stuff wrong with it than usual as they will need money for Christmas unamused Pips ahoy Danlyncand... you never know.... )

Everything Is Beautiful- Dave Clark 5

(hi ho hearties 🙂 there’s a big storm with one of those American storm names coming in soon, bah! I hope your tomatoes got good and ripe in this brief interlude during armageddon 🙂 And btw tobacco doesn’t seem to need any additives added 🙂 Hmmmm yeeeees... I often feel mots turn up problems that weren’t really there. One year just after I’d spent about £800 getting the engine sorted, my car passed the mot with only a £1 wiper blade, as if they felt they’d made enough out of me for the month. This year, hardly having driven since forking out over £600 in March owing to the “situation”, they’re probably going to find at least £500 worth of mot jobs. They seem okay but you just never know. And they’re ex-navy mechanics, or “fish heads” as we used to call them in the RAF. Hmmm, just hmmm 🙂 )

Everything Is AWESOME!!! - Tegan And Sara

(Armageddon arrived during the night & it is still raining ... the sky is so dark that I really should flick the light switch on, but it's August so I refuse to do so unamused hope you all have sun <ever the optimist>  Luckily for me some of the toms have turned a light orange so if needs must I can pluck them & bring in to ripen...  Anything car related is always an anxious time - hmmm indeed 🙄)

Dark Is The Night - Shakatak

(evening ms. mouseworth 🙂 the long arm of geddon is here too, my tobacco is in tatters 😮 the sun appeared temporarily but I can’t say as it had its hat on, very much like the Ilkeley Moor song. I had mine on though, first time since March! :s A chap could think of starting up youtube videos again, and other wintry pursuits 🙂 )

All Night Long - Joe Walsh

(Good morning Mousie and Danlyncand Woman Very Happy

Oo, lots of rain yesterday and some fine rain this morning. Brightening up more now though thank goodness. I had to weight my booties down innocent when I went to collect my new glasses. At least home in good time as the gales were behind me pushing me to my front door. Woman LOL

Mm, now then, all those apples will be great for me to make a pie with Woman Very Happy and I can plant some of the seeds for plenty of coming trees.

My internet has been again more off than on. open_mouth I got an email the other day to say about the new Hub 4 for Virgin, so I ticked for that and the day is today. Woman Very Happy

Maybe all along it was down to the Hub that I have still at the moment. But saying that, when I rang the 150 number a message there saying the same of all local area down and taking longer to fix. I need an MOT innocent  not a car one though. Woman Very Happy

Take care both of your, and stay safe, hope for the same for Bonnie as well.

All the Young Dudes - Mott The Hoople

(Afternoon my lovelies - T'was a lovely morning.... sunny, but too hot... and now it is dark & hammering it down & dare I say, but even a tad chilly... may have to resort to a pair of socks, hmmmmunamused Danlyncand it sounds like you've had it much worse there & sorry your baccy has suffered open_mouth Can you save it? And Little, glad to hear that you've not blown away while collecting your new glasses...at least you had no excuse to get lost on the way back grininnocent Grrrr to Virgin, let's all get them & hold them hostage until they hand over the new hub 👿 Sounds like Ebay may have taken over their customer service phones so double grrrr grinning At least Danlyncand knows where to go for a MOT laughing)
