I think it would be nice to have a place to come & chat about weight loss ideas (safe sensible ones only please!),
to share personal experiences and achievements, and also to ask for help.

Lindi is our resident expert, and has kindly offered her help.

well its another day sparkle , dont beat yourself up over it , forget it and move on .

Dont claw them back it will make you feel miserable, just start a fresh and go on 18 for this week .:o

I stil haven't got round to working my points out yet but as long as there's not too much damage I don't mind cutting back a bit.
It makes it more worth it to cut back a bit for a few days if I can repair my points & stil have a loss!
We'l see lol

Oh & the peanut butter got the better of me, reached for the cerials & it was staring at me, couldn't resist lol
Still, it's only a point or so more than cerials with milk anyway!

no points soup is made of vegetables and tomatoes ,just all the veg that have no calories in them, well all foods have calories but veg is so low

Lindi - HELP!
I'm stuck again! This happens to me every now and then - I get stuck at a weight and it doesn't move for a few weeks... 😞

Last week I tried less exercise with 19 points per day (instead of 20) cos that worked last time I was stuck. No joy. This week I'm trying more exercise with the 19 points (saving dropping to 18 points for when I become really desperate!) - won't know if it's worked until Tuesday. (My scales weigh me 2 lbs less than at group so I try not to get on them in the week.)

I earn 3 bonus points on my exercise bike (30 mins on very high resistance, cycling at 6.5 km p/h) but never eat them. I'm doing that every day this week.

What else can I do? Goal is just 6 lbs away and I want to get there... Hints ot tips please?

(Chatted to my leader who is great - and we know that my portions are right, my water intake is almost right so what else is there?)

Oh my goodness, I am shattered. Walked 41/2 miles, down the old lane over the starved to death fields, up hilly bank field (very hilly) over 5 stiles, 10 minute rest in Church yard (very quiet the residents were) and home.

Don't tell anyone I told you, I stopped for a wee in a hedgerow, how embarrassing.
Now I'm weary but well exercised.

Wow 6b from goal that is some achievement .Ok so you are stuck it happens

Firstly dont use any of your bonus points against your diet this week.
2) Go on 18 points ,
3) Weigh everything this week
4) check the points out on every single thing

Also ask your leader for a summer menu plan which is a balanced week, In my experience people who have followed one of the plans for a week always have good weight loss,s .

Try haveing some protein for breakfast as well , instead of say cornflakes have a boiled egg or beans on toast.
If you normally have a big meal at t time , swap it to lunch time , this also works .

Thanks Lindi I'll try all that! I do tend to vary what I eat and when (to avoid boredom and becoming stuck in a rut!) I'm absolutely sloshing with water as I know that can help too. I'll ask for the menu plan tomorrow when I go to my meeting.

I'm also a clerk (who has done a stint on sales and also some weighing) so at least I always stay to the meetings!

I had my first "informal" interview to be a leader two weeks ago.... Do you know anyone who has had an interview wearing bright pink slippers and for half of it had a cat sat on their lap?? That's me! Still waiting to hear how I did but I know that the Area Manager is really stressed and busy at the moment (one leader has just left and loads of others are on holiday) so I'm probably way down her list of priorities...

I'd like to lose another 7lbs after I get to goal but I don't want to lower my goal weight at the moment cos I feel it might de-motivate me (even more than being stuck does)!

After a really busy day and a strenuous walk my points
mount up but I just let them go. Should I use them?.

and you get a training weekend always in a posh hotel
