How can this be resolved..

How can my partner verify his identity when the email address isn't one he recognises or uses, and the phone number on the account isn't a valid uk number so any messages go to either an email that isn't used or an invalid number. My partner has had NO meaningful help to rectify this situation and it seems impossible to figure out. If anyone has any idea how to sort this out so that he can get his money from his account, any help would be most appreciated. The fact that his details are wrong, and is unable to log in to correct them and sort this out has us going round in circles to the usual pages with no way to correct details or verify identity.
