Does anyone watch this American programme about finding out how people died
First she does an external exam, then open up the body and removes each organ
When she lifts the organ out of the body, the image of the organ in pixelated. This doesn't detract from the programme, as the Dr is explaining clearly what she is doing and seeing.
Just seems an odd thing to do, I can understand the face being hidden, but surely nobody can be identified from their internal organs, so why do they do this?

I don't watch it but that's done because the makers (or the PC sponsors) think those watching might be "upset" or "offended" by seeing such a thing.
It's life Jim, but not as WE know it.
Live long and prosper.

Thought it was probably something like that. It is American after all.
I wouldn't have thought it any different to what you see in the offal section of a butchers or supermarket.
They are not so squeamish over here. Last night I was watching heart transplant operations on BBC, and apart from a few faces blurred, they were shown in all their glory.
