retun and no update on ebay

Hello everyone ,

i recently  requested to send an item back to seller due to a fault ,

he sent me a label which was downloade and used to post back to him 

this is over 10 days and it has not been updated on my ebay , 

I went to the post office and i was told it had been delivered 8 days ago 

please i need help

Check the proof of posting you got from the Post Office when you sent the item and make sure you have added the tracking to the case.

If it was added when you sent the item and now shows delivery, you can ask Ebay to step in through the case.

Or:

Check the tracking yourself.  If it shows delivered, you can contact Ebay Customer Services, make sure they have the tracking for the returned item tell them it was delivered 8 days ago and ask them to step in and refund you.

If the seller does not refund you voluntarily, you do have to return to the case and ask Ebay to step in.  This won't happen automatically.

While you say you "requested to send an item back" did you simply contact the seller or did you open a "not as described" case through eBay? 

If you did open the case then follow the advice from @jckl1957 .  If this was another method you may still be able to open a formal case
