I purchased an item with an age restriction online, and during checkout, it prompted me to provide identification. Unfortunately, being underage, I am unable to provide any ID. I've attempted to request a return, but the system is indicating that I cannot cancel my order for unspecified reasons, and it will proceed to shipment. What should I expect? Will the item actually be shipped, or will I simply not receive anything and be unable to obtain a refund? .

Have you paid, usually you would not be able  to buy unless you had a credit card loaded. Does the item show in your purchases as paid.

If the payment has gone through, then seller would be expected to post.  In fact unless told by ebay he would not know anything about this situation
