I have been charged £4.49 twice for two items i sold that were free selling fees
No they were no listing fees not selling fees
• While for the most part listing items for sale on eBay is free.....selling is not !!
•
• When an item sells you pay fees to two companies :
•
• First is Paypal who charge a fee of 3.4% + 20p (or 3.9% + 20p for international sales) per transaction for administration of the transfer of funds, banking & card charges.
•
• This fee is taken before you receive the funds for the sale as a balance in your account
•
• Second is eBay
•
• You will receive a monthly bill for eBay sales commission (Final Value Fee) which is charged at 10% of the sale price INCLUDING P&P
•
• This fee will appear split on your invoice as the fee on the item price is charged immediately the listing ends, however the fee on the P&P is only charged after the buyer has paid......this is because they may have arranged to collect, to have a premium service orpossibly if they bought multiple items they may have been entitled to a postal discount......
•
• This fee will also include any listing fees including those for optional upgrades such as reserves, buy now etc
•
• These fees will appear on your Paypal of bank account as "eBay Europe Sarl" or "eBayUKLimited"
