Parcel marked as missing and been refunded but been delivered

Hi all,

Random one where I can't seem to find a definitive answer. Sold an item which was shipped promptly but then packlink/Evri lost it for some time. The buyer wasn't willing to wait, opened a case and had his money refunded and since then the parcel has began to move to him after a couple weeks. The refund was issued, but now he'll likely recieve the parcel too. Do ebay have any processes in place where this occurs? Doesn't seem right he gets my £140 item for free because he was refunded?

There is no process on ebay to retrieve a refund.   All you can do is ask the buyer to pay again or return the item.   They can pay any way you both agree, eg. Paypal or bank transfer.

Ebay don't have a process to accomadate these situations so,if the the buyer doesn't offer to pay you back,all you can do is politely ask the buyer how they would like to pay the money back to you once you know the item has been succesfully delivered to them.
