How to retract a bid if I'm highest bidder??

Once purchased you cannot retract your bid and leaving feedback announcing they have cancelled the purchase is not how things work.

Additional information:

If the listing has already ended then you are not the highest bidder - you are the buyer. You can retract your bid, if you have a good reason, as long as the auction continues but if it has ended you need to contact the seller to ask them if they will cancel the transaction.

If the seller is 'private' rather than a business they are not obliged to cancel.
