How to resolve open ebay case

Good afternoon all,

I have sold an item and due to a delay in delivery customer opened a case on ebay. Now he received the item and acknowledged it. However, in order tracking it's still in dispatched status.

Despite multiple requests, he is not closing the case whereas I am getting notifications from ebay to sort it out by Tuesday. How to resolve it?

Did you post using postal tracking, if yes did you add the tracking details into the order details when you posted the item so ebay can view it.
