Faulty item

I have bought an item which was working perfectly during the first months and I was very happy with it. 2 months ago it started to juts stop working while I was uing it. The item is still under warranty. I have contacted the seller and I have to return the item at my own cost. From what I have read the seller should pay for the return costs.  Could anyone confirm this situation for me? Thank you

 

This is a UK bussiness seller and I have contacted them straight away but it took them a month to respond. I have been trying to get to an agreement with them but they keep saying that the return costs are on me.
