ALLEGED NON-EXISTENT PURCHASE!

Can anybodfy help me please.

I bought a small item through ebay; it arrived but it wasn't what I needed and I want to return it.   On My EBay it doesn't appear for some reason but I do have an email from eBay confirming the purchase and giving me reference numbers etc.

When I click on the link (in that email) to Help and Contact I get blocked (eventually) because eBay says they have no record of my purchase!

I'm in a bind; I don't want the thing, I can't start a return because Bay doesn't seem to accept that I bought the goods, and for the same reason they won't let me contact them!

It would appear you bought on ebay using the guest option,so the item won't show on your registered account.

You say you want to return the item for a change of mind,and if bought from a private seller there not obliged to accept returns,where as a business seller must,but you will have to pay any return costs.

Look for the email from ebay you will have received when you paid for the item as that will be what you need to use to proceed with a return
