Seller will not refund after i have returned item

Hi, i purchased an item, after receiving it, it was obviously a fake. so after contacting the seller he told me to return it for a full refund.

after many messages i am still to receive a refund. this is nearly 30 days now.

 

any help would be appreciated

Did you send the item back tracked?  If so and you have not yet opened a case then log into your Paypal account and use their resolution centre.  Open a case for not-as-described (not the brand advertised), add the return tracking number and state the date of delivery.  Escalate to Paypal within 20 days of opening and don't close on a promise as you won't be able to reopen the case.
