Hi
i sold an item a speaker sytem to a person from derby way recently. He paid through paypal and then he took delivery himself for the speakers. unfortunately the sub-woofer doesn't work and so as a gesture of goodwill i stated he could keep the speakers rather than making thw whole round trip again. I was disappointed but offered to refund him the whole amount which surprise.surprise he took up. I refunded him through Paypal but now ebay sarl have charged me the fees asif I still recived the money. Now where on ebay can I contact them to explain this situation? can anyone help?

You have to send the buyer a cancellation request, and if he accepts it, your fees will be refunded. But be aware, he could decline.
If he ignores the request you can close it yourself ( in your own favour) after 10 full days.
If you have not already completred a formal cancellation, I'm afraid you gave yourself a defect when you refunded.
You should always cancel first, otherwise ebay have no idea you have given the money back.
