Holiday adverts for 2018 ! Already !!!!!!

I do not watch a lot of television but on watching a programme last night the adverts contained quite a few adverts for 2018 holidays !

I have not even finished the holidays I am due for 2017, having a week to take mid December plus some floating days and already they are advertising holidays for 2018.

Is it old age galloping up or are they making years seem shorter by advertising everything earlier and earlier ?

When my girlfriend and I used to travel to far afield places back in the 1990's (Africa, the Caribbean, The Maldives), you needed to book nearly a year in advanced to get the holiday you wanted (for The Maldives it was over a year), so perhaps there trying to catch the early birds.

I tried to book for India once about 9-10 months in advance and except there was very little remaining.

Well we will have no problems like that next year !
