Unauthorised direct debit ...

I have in the last couple of days found out that there is a direct debit of around £38 taken every six months from my bank account by Ebay. I don't recall ever agreeing to this? Does anyone know what the payments are for? I can't get through to speak to anyone.

I suggest you speak to your bank.  

That amount on a regular basis looks strange

Ebay only needs to use the DD as a backup for refunds and fees.
