Seller said he issued a refund but i did not get a notification

I paid for an item (laptop) but before the seller posted it I realized the item in the pictures was a different model than the description (it was a very subtle clue, one of the stickers on the laptop was from a different model). I asked the seller and he confirmed that yes the description was wrong, and that he would issue a refund. I did not get a notification or any email from ebay about any refunds being made.

Have you checked your eBay messages because it would say there if the seller had refunded you.

You may have to wait and open a not received case or a return case if he sends the laptop.

But you won't be able to open a not received case until the last estimated delivery case has passed.
