Hi All,
Just wondering about something...
I recently bought a mobile phone that was advertised as 'brand new unopened' and upon receiving it I discovered it was NOT new and requested a full refund which I got.
The seller never disputed this.
Now here's the thing, after receiving my refund I rightly left negative feedback as this seller clearly sold me a item that was not as advertised.
It was not done to be vindictive but to highlight this seller sold me a used phone when in fact it was advertised as brand new.
However the feedback has not gone on the seller's profile and seems to have just vanished!.
Any ideas as to what has happened here?
EBay would have Removed it after a Request by the Seller because they dealt correctly with your Complaint and Refunded you within the permitted time line.
Although I think it's a crock of 'you know what' that a seller who has intentionally miss-sold an item get's to hide the very feedback that's designed to protect potential buyers. There will be nothing stopping him relisting the same item as 'brand new' and doing the same to some unsuspecting buyer.
I think from Ebay thats a very bad way of running a service.
Also ebay also have some seller protection.
Thye sometimes remove bad feedback for sellers they think are good.
Like sellers who give returns within 3 0days whatever the reason.
