We're writing to let you know that we've removed an item you recently won due to concerns with the seller's account:
I just got this message from eBay about an item I purchased yesterday.
On checking out the sellers feedback, I noticed that 99% of their feedback items have links to the same "We Looked Everywhere, looks like this page is missing" error page that my item number leads to.
98% positive feedback still so I'm not overly concerned about not receiving my item although it is a 50 day delivery schedule from China. I was just curious as to why so many of the different items in the sellers feedback appear to have had the listing removed same as mine. Any ideas?
Unless you tell us what the items are, we can't possibly know. But if the seller still has an account, and still has items listed for sale, it could be that the removed items infringed on copyright or trademarks, or the seller had no licence or permission to sell them, and Ebay was instructed to remove them by the brand owners. You can read all about this in the VeRO link at the foot of any page.
Or they might just be items that cannot be sold here. Go to Ebay's Seller Center or Help pages for information.
Whatever, it doesn't mean your item won't arrive (though bear in mind that it may be destroyed by Customs if it's something that can't be imported into this country, or is dangerous). But if it doesn't arrive, open an Item Not Received case 2 full days after the estimated delivery date on the order. You can't open one any sooner, for obvious reasons, so something to bear in mind when thinking of buying items with long delivery estimates in future.
Hi
Almost every single item this seller sells (keyrings to underwear) seem to end up with a similar item not found error page in their feedback almost as if each listing is removed after a sale. Just seemed a bit strange that was all. Thought the seller might be up to no good?
I just bought the item yesterday and seller has already left me feedback. That feedback is already on page 7 of sellers feedback left for others and I have yet to find an item number in those 7 pages that links to an item that still exists.
seller id fashion_newlife have a look at all the missing items by checking out the item numbers in their feedback left for others

Sorry I dont know why that emoji appeared on the end of the link above I have checked and all I posted was the link to the sellers feedback...
The item was a snood with an animal face print on it nothing illegal or dangerous.
The seller has just claimed he refunded me and asked me to leave him positive feedback. But I checked and he hasn't refunded me. I think this this seller is intentionally getting his sales cancelled to farm feedback.
How do I report my suspicions to eBay?
I took the chance as other buyers feedback said the item arrived very quickly.
Seller is now saying he has refunded me and is pleading for positive feedback but they haven't refunded me at all. I think the seller is up to no good. Over half is total sales have happened in the last month and all the items followed from his feedback left for others are missing and we are talking 7 pages of feedback from the feedback he left me so that is like 175 items in 2 days ALL with missing links?

Hi,
eBay may have removed the items for a number of reasons;
i.e. restricted items not to be sold outside China, copyright issues regarding the item, dangerous or hazardous item
I hope the above maybe of use.
Best regards
