The item you won is no longer available.

We're writing to let you know that we've removed an item you recently won due to concerns with the seller's account:

I just got this message from eBay about an item I purchased yesterday.

On checking out the sellers feedback, I noticed that 99% of their feedback items have links to the same "We Looked Everywhere, looks like this page is missing" error page that my item number leads to.

98% positive feedback still so I'm not overly concerned about not receiving my item although it is a 50 day delivery schedule from China. I was just curious as to why so many of the different items in the sellers feedback appear to have had the listing removed same as mine. Any ideas?

Unless you tell us what the items are, we can't possibly know. But if the seller still has an account, and still has items listed for sale, it could be that the removed items infringed on copyright or trademarks, or the seller had no licence or permission to sell them, and Ebay was instructed to remove them by the brand owners. You can read all about this in the VeRO link at the foot of any page.

Or they might just be items that cannot be sold here. Go to Ebay's Seller Center or Help pages for information.

Whatever, it doesn't mean your item won't arrive (though bear in mind that it may be destroyed by Customs if it's something that can't be imported into this country, or is dangerous). But if it doesn't arrive, open an Item Not Received case 2 full days after the estimated delivery date on the order. You can't open one any sooner, for obvious reasons, so something to bear in mind when thinking of buying items with long delivery estimates in future.

You do realise that with such a long delivery time, you will need to open a Not Received case on day 51 and you also have only 10 days left to leave feedback.

Hi,

eBay may have removed the items for a number of reasons;

i.e. restricted items not to be sold outside China, copyright issues regarding the item, dangerous or hazardous item

I hope the above maybe of use.

Best regards
