I have a seller using my landline number as his own and I am getting many calls from dissattisfied customers I have tried contacting him myself with no replies and would like to know what you think I should do next Thank you in advance
Hi
Contact Ebay Customer support and give them as many details as you can ...especially the other members username that is using your landline number
Go to help and contact tab at the top of the page and search contact Ebay CS
OR scroll down to the bottom of this link and try live chat
If the problem gets really bad then perhaps it would be worth considering contacting the company that your landline is registered with and ask for your landline number to be changed, explaining the reasons behind the request. If they do change your landline number for you then it should put a stop to the calls once and for all, as once your current number is taken out of service neither the seller nor any of his/her dissatisfied customers will be able to get through to you.
Just to add ....most landline providers will do this free of charge in the circumstances so worth considering.
A while back we purchased from a well known store several white goods for the kitchen. They put us on some mailing list and it got the point where we were having up to 6 calls a day with people trying to sell us something. We had to change our landline number .
