Feedback from a seller was abusive. Have tried to contact eBay.

Have contacted a seller to remove abusive feedback. They have not replied which has been over a week. There original description was in correct when I queried this, the reply was abusive.

Only ebay canremove feedback, look at the bottom of your feedback page for links to ask for removal.

When you leave feedback there is a note saying that it cannot be changed, so there is no point in asking the seller. Let them find the hard way, ebay will give them a Policy Violation on their account. Too many of these and they will get a suspension.

Go to the help and contact tab at the top of the page and search SELLER HELP

You have to ask Ebay to remove the feedback...........tell them that it is abusive and also the seller has broken feedback rules because they have left negative feedback on a green positive and these are two grounds for it to be removed under their feedback policy.

Given the fact that the seller has left you a false positive you can ask eBay to remove this for you.  The fastest way to contact eBay would be to click on the Policies link at the bottom of this page and wait for the Policies page to load up.  When it does scroll right down to the bottom of the page and look at the bottom left hand corner.  There is a mobile phone icon there next to the words "Have Us Call You."  Click on that option and an eBay representative will call you shortly afterwards, at which point you can report the false positive you have received from the seller and ask eBay to remove the comment from your feedback history.  They will then remove the seller's feedback - sellers are not allowed to leave comments for buyers which are not positive, so the comment that the seller left you would definitely qualify for removal.  Once it is removed the seller's account will be hit with a defect for breach of feedback policy, so it was a pretty stupid decision by the seller to leave such a comment in the first place.

Ebay CS reps no longer have the power to remove feedback and it must now be done through Seller Help.
