It doesn't seem to matter if it is a survey about hair colouring gunk, clothes for schoolkids or the best kind of butter.
I'm talking about the surveys incorporated into TV adverts here. The results are never spoken out loud, you just need to read the text as it flashes across the screen.
So what's your gripe, Steve?
Well, how come these surveys always say something like "274 of 307 people asked agreed."
Why not just ask 300 so that we can make sense out of the figures?
