I found a piece of dead skin on my heel and decided it needed to come off as it was catching on my sock.
Guess what?
Yes some of it was dead but it took off the dead stuff but it took off a length of live skin and my foot is sore.
I must stoff doing that.
How will I explain to my chirpodist hat I did especially as she willprolly sand down any dead skin as she always does.
Really I should have left it for her to deal with.
What a DORK.

IF that was the very worst thing that you did that day, you're probably going to be all right. However, in the interests of safety, I suggest you avoid power tools....:^O

Ugh!! I had a similar experience when I went on the "Memory Walk" last year. We only walked about 6 miles - but the pace made my feet very sore. The whole of my instep pad cam away and left a very sore and tender patch. Took about 4 months to heal over.
I bought some foot cream from Wilkinsons (menthol is one of the ingredients) and it was very soothing.
