Woke uo this Morning to hear Robin Williams had taken his own life. Like many many Comics his life was one long battle against Drink, Drugs and Depression
20 years sober, then divebombed off the wagon, a warning to us all
nanu nanu Robin, in the end the demons won, such a shame

My wife gave me the sad news from the telly last night. I was pretty sure she'd got the name's mixed up with some other blokes but I went and had a look and there it was.
"Such a shame" seems a phrase most often used these days but I'm afraid it's all that we have.

Yes...he was a wonderful man R.I.P Robin. Not a lot of people knew he had picked up Christopher Reeves' bills, and then looked after the son. Then the that's what a wonderful man would do without telling anyone.
Incidentally... Frank Sinatra picked up Bela Lugosi's funeral bill (Lugosi was skint, and was buried in one of his Dracula capes). Fancy sitting at that grave all night?
I have a picture of his grave...later when I find it.

It's sad really, that somebody who had such an outgoing and exuberant public personality; could be in such a dark place privately. If it was one of your own Family, you would just want them to come and talk to you; when they were down. To let them know they aren't on their own and that your door is always open for them, but that would not be enough. It's far more complex than that and I don't have the knowledge, or understanding, of the complexities of mental health, to profess to know what to do for the best...........I could only say "mi casa es tu casa"................for what it's worth.

You can just as easily substitute - Alcohol for Cocaine , in your post
You drink because you're depressed and get more depressed by your drinking
