Some of us have been posting on this thread for 13 years and when the thread was posted there were no stated "rules" !!! We were all happy-go-lucky "ebay friends".

I've just told you, we were a happy-go-lucky bunch on here and everyone used to take a bit of "extracting-the-michael" in the spirit in which it was intended.

Once or twice of 'taking the michael' I can understand but when it becomes a personal attack against one person, in this case myself,  that is not acceptable sorry. This has to stop as it is certainly not appropriate behavoiur on any of these forums.

No-one's made hurtful comments and you're making things worse by adopting a persecution complex.

I have no authority at all. Looking back at the thread, it seems to me that it's only you that's taken issue with the way the thread has developed over the years. It's tragic that some of the old posters are no longer with us and new posters are most welcome to join in with fun of coming up a word even though nearly every word known to man may well have already been used. Now can't we resume the thread without any more nit-picking?

My father was in the RAF and at the passing-out parade the Flight Sergeant was calling out left-right-left-right-left-right etc etc but as he called out "Left" the parade went "Right", as he called out "Right" the parade went "Left".... all except one lad who, as he passed where his parents were standing called out "Look Mam, they're all out of step except me...."
