What a waste thanks to the panic buying of greedy people without means to keep it frozen or edible in some way

Last week I was talking to a lady about all the panic buying and she reckoned a lot of it would end up in landfill.

A few days ago I was chatting with another lady who had been talking to the chaps who'd collected the bins down her road who'd told her there was loads more food waste than was usual.

I expect that scenario will be played out across the country. A shocking waste, an indication of more money than sense and easy-come, easy-go?
