I pray that April will be found alive and well.

I hope they have the right man  if she has been murdered.

Sadly, Petal, they probably never will find her unless they are told by the person involved what happened and where.

IF - and this is purely one scenario - the person is in complete locked-down denial, or was stoned out of their minds at the time, they may even never know themselves.

I hope that, whilst the physical searching for her is now called off, the case will always be open and under constant review.

It seems, quite shockingly, that the police have known she would not be found, neither her remains either.

I suppose they had to search as much as they could to make sure they had missed nothing and that they could not find any further evidence.

But what is now coming out is truly horrendous and unimaginable.

I can only pray her family can find some kind of strength they will need in the coming weeks as this all comes out, and that they will be fully supported to help them find a way to accept what has happened.

I can't even being to imagine what this is like for them.
