Your thoughts please.

My kitchen windows are double-glazed, and lock with a key. One of the windows will not unlock with the key, it's as if the handle has dropped a bit.

Would it be possible for me to ask a repair man to fix the actual lock, or would I end up having to have a whole new window?

I had a try at what Dark_castle suggested, and wow, it worked. I am so pleased all back to normal now with the lock.

Very glad to hear you got your window unlocked littleme, no cakes for me though as the doctor said I am obese and I am diabetic.

He eats all the cream cakes and everything that is bad for you and still only 11 stones and 6ft !! No one else would get away with that. He works it all off in his full time job as well as all the decorating and gardening he does at home.

If that were me.....just one look at a cake and i would put on pounds

That's fine Shirl as I could easily eat your share of cakes. I am 4ft 11 and 7st so best I tuck in.

I will send some across to your Glyn, of course all cakes will be tested first.
