Japanese vase value?

I have two of these which my late grandmother and her sister got from their mother in the late 1940's. Any one any idea of value as no markings?

Japanese vase value?

Thank you for your advice, it is much appreciated. I will keep searching as
I have been. As yet I have not come across any other item in that pattern.

Here's another search for you:

https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=late+1940%27s+Japanese+vase+sellers&tbm=isch&ved=2ahUKEwj5mJCsg5L3...

My suggestion would be don't even think about listing them on eBay until you know what they are worth!

They could be worth £10 , a few hundred, or even a few thousand!

Just because you can't see any visible markings, doesn't mean that there aren't any hidden in the patterning! The patterning alone can be a signature of an individal artist / makers / manufacturer.

Plus, sometimes artists have hidden initials and even signatures in patterning on art pieces.

Truth hurts. Maybe not as much as jumping on a bicycle with a seat missing, but it hurts.

You may think you have pushed ALL my buttons, but you still haven't found the mute!
