You know when you start typing the name of something that you are interested in in the Search box and as you type a selection of possibles may appear underneath? OK, just imagine that you are searching for Chinese lanterns. You start typing and get as far as "Chinese la" and the full phrase appears underneath. So then, to avoid further typing you move the mouse pointer down to cover the phrase that eBay itself made available and do a left click with the mouse.
So how come a message appears saying something like ..... ** The term "Chinese lanterns" did not match any terms within eBay.**
What the heck is going on?
PS ...... Don't try it with "Chinese lanterns", that wasn't what I was looking for.
Cheers,
Steve ..... off out now.

a problem i get the all the time, The problem is not e-bay its sellers who don't understand what keywords are or tey to enter too many key words, If a sellers keyword does not match your exact search then nothing will come up, you simply have to type in the search bar what the seller has put in the heading of there description or added as there keywords try searching the same item using diffrent words to explain what your looking for ie If you search wooly jumper ad nothing shows try try mens Jumpers wool.
Sound daft right but honestly to many people go into too much depth with there keywords and do not research what gets searched the most
