Is it possible to disable adds on Ebay?

The last couple of days the add banners seem to be freezing some features for me. On any page with the ad banners the drop down menus dont work, well they don't show a drop down menu when I place the cursor over them. This is happening on multiple browsers so can only think that the ad's are somehow to blame. Is it possible to disable them?

Thanks

Roy

ok the adds are gone but still the drop down menus are not working properly, can only access them from certain pages. In order to go to My ebay>selling I need to go to community page first then once it's loaded the drop down menus appear. The drop down menus don't work from the default page, this just started happening last night.

Is this any help?

>> try disabling hardware acceleration in firefox > tools > options > advanced > general and see if this will address the issue...
