Goodnight, you can see random meteors at any time.

This morning there was thick, swirling mist, visibility was down to as little as 50 yards at one time, the Sun was fighting to get through and eventually it was nice for a while before...... yes, those pesky clouds arrived and they're still around although there's a few gaps now and again.

One day in November I spoke to a lady round the lake and she said she'd put her tree up!!

Goodnight, been foggy on and off all day, it clears, then comes back. Visibility has been down to 50 yards but I can see about a mile in one direction but about 3 miles in another.

There was lovely sunshine this morning which I thought would burn the fog off but by dinner time the fog was back. It was so dense, I couldn't see from one side of the lake to the other but on the road, lots of people were not using lights on their cars! Now, it's lifted a bit, I can see as far as the end of the lane, about 150 yards.

Yes, light's on because it's been pretty dull all day. No sign of any stars now.

I'm not surprised, dull and dark! Cloudy all day, no sunshine and no stars tonight either.

Goodnight, we're over the shortest day now, we've lighter days/nights to look forward to.

You've got another couple of days to ramble round the shops and THEN, you've the Boxing Day sales to look for that new laptop 😇

Was a frosty morning, then it started to rain about 2:30pm and continued for a few hours. Just misty and overcast now.

I try to avoid shops at the best of times.

Goodnight, so, poor hubby gets commanded towards the shops and get's it in the neck when he substitutes something? 😀

It was dull, dark and misty early on then brightened up. The skies have cleared, I can see about 40 miles laterally and billions of miles vertically but the Moon is too bright to see everything.
