Thought I would say goodnight before this thread gets locked, it appears that our hard pressed moderation team are scouting for old threads again! If someone comes along and reads an old thread, decides to comment on it what possible harm can it do?

Well there's old and there's the lifeless body of the absolutely abandoned stone dead?

There's quite a difference between, for instance the gif thread started 9½ years ago and still being posted on by the board stalwarts and another thread not posted on for 4½ years?

Doncha have to wonder why on earth anyone would want to trawl the depths of the RT archives to ressurect the long dead when it would be easier to begin a new thread with relevant input?

OK, the death throes of the RT need some life-giving input but a new thread is surely the way to go?
