Yep and we had a visit from the PM Gordon Brown yesterday who pledged 1 million extra in aid - but some peeps on here don't think we're entitled to it and he's just buying votes (on another thread) just so sad how some people think, it's only when they experience the devastation themselves that they WILL change their minds.

agreed suzie - very sad way of thinking - one of my friends a work colleague has lost everything and despite being insured it's devasted him - he was supposed to have gone on holiday yesterday - but I can't contact him to find out whether he made it or not or is just staying put trying to sort everything out.
