Hello to all our old friends and newcomers alike. Welcome to Bill & Charlie's Bar - the place to meet other posters and to sit and chat while you sample your favourite tipple. Plenty to drink, lots of joking but alas no smoking.

We are open all hours (hic) and run a respectable Bar. (Although I argued with Charlie until I was blue in the face over that one!) No swearing, spitting or drun..drunk...drunken beeeehaviour (hic). We have a couple of bouncers to hand ~ she comes in on Friday nights.

Teetotallers are welcome and will be treated as normal. I jest ~ soft drinks are available at the bar along with light snacks. And finally, please use the emergency exit when Bill rambles on about the good ol' days and put plugs in your ears when Charlie 'sings'.

Perhaps bill - but there's a few of us here, so one plate won't last long !

Thinks ahead see, customers' needs an' all. They'll drink more with a few tasty bar snacks, profits up etc.  ...are you taking notes? 😉

I am indeed taking notes, Suzie. I suspect your little accidental double act could well work to your advantage...:-D

However, I have to determine whether your acts of 'customer care' are in fact  genuine ones and that you are not just trying to butter me up :^O

It was your pic of chicken wings that reminded me harry. I used to have a large book called Rude Food - all tasteful but suggestive quality photos of food - all on semi- or naked women if I recall. A boyfriend gave it to me as a present which I thought a bit odd at the time -more for his titillation than mine I reckon!! So I gave it to the next boyfriend after him!! :^O
