Any vegans around?

What I wanna know is..... if meat is "so bad" why do they make "vegan" products look and taste like meat?

Some people like the taste of meat but want to reduce their intake for the sake of climate warming, or for animal welfare reasons, and /or personal  health reasons.

Also, if you think about it making plant products into the shape of a burger or a sausage isn't really mimicking meat any more than making something that is a useful shape to grill, fry or barbecue that will fit in a roll.

All that we are is what we have thought.

They should be honest with themselves, their inner selves really want meat! Their stuff could be made in to the right shape to fit on a bun/bap or in to a roll without looking and/or tasting like meat.

Now this reducing their intake for the sake of global warming etc???? How much processing goes on to produce the stuff? If they like to content so much, why not eat it as it comes instead of wasting time, effort and energy processing it?

I've never tried the stuff and I expect that if I did I'd probably think it was OK but it's not something I want to try.
