Sales email notifications problem when customer using Basket

It would seem that when a customer puts two items in their Basket (I can only speak for two in my case) and then they check out - the Sales Notification Subject lines I receive are both the same. The content seems to be correct but they effectively say I have had two transactions for the same item!

I have a similar problem.

Buyer bought 2 items.

A BIGPOT and a ENDSENSE items.

However, the email notification says they bought 2 BIGPOT items.

I nearly sent out wrong order except I only had one BIGPOT in stock.

I managed to work it out but its very confusing.

Although this is the 'Technical Issues' thread it's not actually monitored by the tech department so it's pretty much odds-on that nothing will happen unless they can be made aware. And as the Wednesday Chats are now no more the only way to (hopefully) bring this to anyone's attention is to contact the Community Team (if they're still there, of course) and ask them to pass it on. So...

PS prom22 and nigel_paul_wright7557 You will almost undoubtedly be asked to provide screenshots demonstrating the issue so it's probably best if you could post some sooner rather than later.

Here are a couple of screen shots - all the emails show the same title and show the same photo but the price differs. So the example shown here - the title and photo match but the price is not correct on four of the items - when I go to my account I can see what the other four items are.

Although the order below was a Basket order, I think because it had variations

the emails were sent out correctly:

It looks like this may only happen where they are not Variation listings?

But order emails from ebay said 2 of the same item.
