Ebay app on Phone not working.

Ebay App on Android phone not connecting to server.

Saying there is a technical issue and to try again later.  That has been since yesterday.

Phone I am using is a Samsung S24

eBay know about this but not sure when the problem will be solved.   Hopefully they'll sort it out soon.

Wife was having the same problem on her Samsung A25, but now working again after uninstalling and reinstalling ebay

Yes same on mine S25 been like it for a few days now.

Same. Samsung phone and cant report as its saying theres an issue with "access token"

I'm unable to access the app too, has been like this for some weeks. I use Google pixel 9 phone. I can't run searches, access my listings or inbox. I have different messages that come up, dependent on what I try to access.

A Community manager  recently posted this below,  recommends uninstalling and reinstalling the app and also.....

Check to see you have the latest app version as there has been recent updates.

Android version when updated needs android system 12 and up

IOS  newest version works with IOS 18 or later

Ensure you have the correct update with the correct device.

All of this has been done multiple times. Nothing will make any difference because the App is completely unusable. Totally screwed. I have spent a fortune on Vinted in the last few months as I don't use the desktop version of eBay. If my stuff sells I won't know so I'll have to access the desktop version briefly & remove my items.

Same, it's stuck at loading all the time. All I can see is the loading skeleton. If I try to sign in it stucks at loading.

I solved the problem by deleting the app, then re installing.

I did that twice (deleting the app then re-installing), it didn't work for me. Still having issues.

I've been having this problem all day today (16th May 2026).  Inbox says there are 3 messages, tap on inbox and I get "Try tapping "reload" to try again". Attempting to read the messages in a web browser on a PC and they are not showing at all.

Uninstall and reinstall should fix it for you

I uninstalled and reinstalled the App, that fixed it. Bit, we shouldn't have to do that.
