managed payments & restricted catagorys

I have had my first mandatory reminder email from ebay saying sign up to managed payments

question is I sell items that come under the managed payments retricted catagorys?

will my account get blocked automatically to list? if the reminders continue?

how do I stop this ?

if you sell restricted items - will they end my items to make me move over ?

please help

A quick look at your listings and the only restricted categories I can see are bullion and coins so these would be removed and you wouldn't be able to list them(some could possibly be listed under Historical Medals/Medallions).

You will have to sign up to managed payments eventually or eBay will stop your listings renewing and then stop your listings altogether.

im confused as from what ive read online as private sellers dont need to sign up to managed payments and the category itself is not a prohibited item?

so from what your saying private sellers can list all items while businesses cant - but that will surely end/bankrupt alot of businesses that solely sell in these category ? which dosnt seem correct?

Private sellers are also being moved to Managed Payments,all sellers will eventually be transferred and sellers wont be able to use Paypal to receive payments.

hello again - but what if a ebay store solely trades in these category ? - the items are not banned from ebay to sell - just not accepted under the managed payments?

looking at the restricted category there will be millions of items that we cant sell under managed payments but these items arnt banned from selling on ebay - so still confused -

If you solely sell in a restricted category you can ask eBay to be kept on Paypal they can do this even if a large proportion of your sales not listings are restricted it can take up to 3 weeks for a decision and not everyone will be allowed,until they can come to agrement with Adyen to accept the restricted items
