Hi has anybody been charged extra for their selling fees as i have somehow picked up an extra 8 pounds from somewhere, thanks.
Ebay's fees are never wrong. So click on the invoice in your Ebay account to see an itemised breakdown. Then go to the Seller Centre (foot of any page) or the Help pages with their integral search (links at top and foot of any page), to refresh your knowledge of Ebay's fees if necessary.
And remember that Ebay charge their selling fee the second an item is bought or an auction won, not when the buyer pays. So if you had a non-payer at some point, Ebay won't know that unless you tell them, which you do by opening an Unpaid Item case within 32 days of purchase, and closing as 'unpaid' after 4 full days. The selling fee is then auto-credited back to your Ebay account.
Sausage-image I had the same issue. I knew exactly how much I was owing in fees at the end of September as I kept a regular check on them and then when I looked on the 2nd October after the updates an extra £18 had been added to my fees not yet invoiced. I got ebay to ring me and was told it was a glitch and that the technical team would be sorting it, thankfully it's now been rectified. I don't sell lots on here so quite a bit out of my profit. I'd contact them if you haven't already.
