Hello. I have a few questions about basic shop
1. items listed before the opening of the basic shop will be there?
2. Can I run a basic shop as a private seller?
3. If I have a basic shop, can I use the vacation option (suspension of sales for a period of time, e.g. 2 weeks)?
4. Will I benefit from the shop directly after the open basic shop?
I know it is in the regulations but it is not 100% clear to me. Thank you for your help
1. items listed before opening will be shown in the shop
2. private sellers can subscribe to a shop - a private seller is someone selling their own private possessions, if you are buying to sell you need to Upgrade to a Business Account
3. yes, shop subscribers can use the holiday settings
4. yes, you benefit as soon as you subscribe
You would need to register correctly, shop or no shop.
if you are buying to sell you need a business account
also, you don't need to pay for a shop you could use the out of stock option
go to:-
my ebay >>> account tab >>> site preferences >>> out of stock
once you have activated this option you can then revise your listings to show zero available, your selling will then be 'paused' for up to 180 days,
just bear in mind you will be charged listing fees every month and the listings will be removed completely after 180 days unless you relist before that time
As far as I know answers as follows, but you should read and understand the instructions as it is your shop and you are running it.
1. Will be listed in items for sale. You may need to Move into Shop yourself, it may not be automatic.
2. Private sellers can have a shop,BUT if you are running a Business you still have to Register as Business Seller.
3. Yes (But must be done properly)
4. Yes. (By benefit if you mean in terms of sales, there is no guarantee that you will sell any more despite paying extra for a Shop)
