What type of ebay account do I need / help with fees

Can anyone advise what ebay account / shop I need and help with fees? I'm finding it all a bit confusing.

I am going to be selling a single product initially, possible ranging to 5-10 products. I will have 50+ of each product.

Im guessing a business account will be necessary, but do I need a shop?

My item will be priced at £6.99 + £2 delivery. What will be my fees for the different options?

There is no simple answer to fees,enter FEES in Help & Contact and read about them. It takes ebay a couple of pages to give details and you won't get an answer that long here.

you don't need a shop, but you do need a business account,

Upgrade to a Business Account

a shop isn't financilly viable until you list about 100 items

as a registered business without a shop you will be charged 36p per listing,

final value fees will vary depending on the category you list in

that will be 11% plus 20%VAT on the fees

Is there an additional payment for a buy it now listing?

if you add a buy it now to an auction style listing it costs an additional 50p


if you list as a fixed price buy it now you only pay the one 36p fee
