1. First, go you your selling page. (My eBay > Selling)

2. Find the item you want to stop automatically relisting and select its dropdown menu (⌄).

3. Select "Revise"

4. Uncheck the box nex to "Automatically relist this item...". (If you don't see it, search for "auto" with the search shortcut: control/Command + F.)
5. Save the change (blue button at the bottom of the screen).

Which template did you use to set up the listings?  If you just set the listings up using the bog standard selling form then that may well be the cause of the problem.  If this is indeed the case end the affected listings, citing "Error In Listing" as the reason why, then relist the items for sale using the Advanced Selling Template to create the listing.  Don't use the Buy It Now option - eBay ruined the Buy It Now option a few years back and sellers now cannot determine the length of time that a Buy It Now listing runs for.  As a result there are only three ways that a Buy It Now listing can be ended - A) If somebody clicks on the Buy It Now button or makes an acceptable Best Offer, B) If the seller changes his or her mind and decides to withdraw the advert, or C) If eBay decide that the listing breaches eBay policy for some reason and remove the listing from the site.

Once you've started the listing using the Advanced Selling Form select the option to list the item using the Auction format and set the starting price at a price that would ensure that you still got the mimimum amount that you wanted for the item even if you only got one bid after eBay and PayPal have both taken their cut of the final selling price.  Upload the shots of the item that you're listing for sale, along with an item description written specifically for that item, and fill in the Item Specifics fields.  However, whilst you are doing this make sure that you do not tick the box next to the sentence that reads "Automatically Relist This Item If It Doesn't Sell" and once you have completed the listing save the template so that you can use it again in the future.

Once you have saved the template all of the information on that listing will be automatically carried across to any further listings that you create using that template.  Should you wish to list any similar items for sale just delete the original photos and item description from the first listing you created, then replace the shots with photos of the latest item being advertised and include an item description that's been written for that exact item.  You can have as many presaved templates as you want for all of the different things that you want to list, so make the most of them.

Once you've set up your listings using the Advanced Selling Template delete any presaved templates that you may have created using the bog standard selling form.  That way you won't make the mistake of inadvertently using the bog standard selling form to list something for sale, as you'll only have templates available that you created using the Advanced Selling Form.
