Problem updating my business seller preference

I am trying to add my business address to listings. Every time I click Edit next to "Display business seller information on listings"

I get "We're sorry,we are unable to process your request this time"

I've tried multiple times so it's not a temporary problem. I noticed the error is shown on ebay.com whereas the edit is on ebay.co.uk in case this this could be an issue (?). But I have tried making the change on ebay.com but the option does not appear.

USA registered account /UK based seller ... Easiest way to change Country of registration and transfer the account to the UK site is to contact Customer Services (when possible) and ask that they do so whilst you are on the phone ... you can then correctly add your UK Business seller information to listings ... the link often fails to make the change... for information >

Thanks for the prompt response. I'm UK based and always have been so not quite sure why it would be a USA registered account but I'm happy to make that assumption.

The only customer service number I have is a recording. Is there a USA one I could use to contact them?

In 1999, all members were registered in the US site before the UK site opened in the early 2000's.

Ebay are currently unable to accept phone calls, due to Covid staff shortages. It's Live Chat or Request-a-Callback only (in Help & Contact, top and foot of any page).
