I understand that my listings (5) may take a short while before they arrive in my 'Active' box for confirmatory viewing. However, they have already been viewed by the public -some of whom are asking questions. I still cannot view my listings or edit them and cannot react to the public's questions.
When challenged on this the Chat line were unable to confirm that I had any listings whatsoever, which I find bizarre.
Are maximum selling fees legit when I register for them? When formulating a listing for auction options come up that suggest fees are involved.
You have no items listed on this account. So I'm guessing that you have another account, and have simply logged into the wrong one...?
www.ebay.com is the American equivalent of www.ebay.co.uk. www.ebay.co.uk, as the suffix suggests, is the UK website. Both are part of the same organisation, although the .com version of these two addresses is specifically set up for account users with a primary address registered in the USA, whereas the .co.uk website is for account users with a primary address in the UK.
If you've set up two separate accounts then if you have listed something for sale, but not on this account, then log into whichever e-mail address you linked up with the other account. You should see an e-mail confirmation that you have submitted your listing. Likewise, to check whether you've received any e-mails from eBay from the other account, log into whichever e-mail you used to link to that account.
If you have set up two separate eBay accounts then you would need to use a different e-mail address for each one, as you cannot use the same e-mail address on more than one account. You can, however, link up to eight separate e-mail accounts to the same PayPal account, so if you did have two accounts then so long as you've linked both e-mail accounts up to PayPal that you've registered for each eBay account, you could buy and sell with both of those accounts so long as you've set the accounts up correctly and everything has been verified on both of them in order to get your accounts completely set up and ready to use.
If you can't see them then you are looking at the wrong ID.
Even though they can take up to 24 hours to appear in searches, they will still show in your Active items and you can edit tem, although that could delay the time before they become visible in searches, and any enquiries probably come from buyers with saved searches who have been advised of newly listed items.
If you are getting enquiries who are they addressed to as they can only be sent to the ID they are listed under.
search for one of the items using the exact title
when you find it look at the seller ID
that is the name of the account you used to list the item
log out of the account you are using and log into that account, if you can't remember the password use the 'help sign in' option
