I have a buyer who requested a refund and now has said they aren't going to bother returning it.

How do i get ebay to remove a return from one of my sales?

I sold a wind up radio just before the lockdown. the buyer sent me an email saying the wind up bit didnt work (although it was brand new in the packaging). I agreed to a refund as per the rules and sent them a refund label.

Two days later, they sent me another email to say that the radio now didn't charge using the electric cable and they"didnt know what feed back to leave".....I found that a bit threatening tbh. My big question was why were they hadnt already pcked it and returned it ( but obviously didnt say that) By this time we were in lockdown.  I told them to just post it to me, her reply was we are in lockdown.....the post is working though.

So this week (6 weeks on) , I get an email from Ebay saying that she has indicatd that she has posted it back to me and i need to refund or contact her. I contacted her to say I hadn't received it and was still happy to refund her, but she needed to contact Royal Mail to chase it. Her reply has been "Keep the money"....nothing more.

Only the buyer can close the return case.  If the item is not returned or if the case is not closed or escalated it will expire eventually.
